This research has investigated unconventional methods of creating three-dimensional modular type with materials and techniques unique to type design in new digital age. Under the influence of Korean Hangul Alphabet, one of the featural writing systems has modularity and geometric shapes, I have studied systematic construction of letterform. It inspired me to created three-dimensional modular type through the survey on the geometric form, the modularity in letterforms and different manufacturing techniques.
